That’s right! Valve has made it so that If you’ve pre-ordered Left 4 Dead 2, or doing it soon, you’ll get the exclusive military beret hat that Bill wears in L4D. So, what are you waiting for if you already have L4D2? Go equip it in your backpack now!

Also, we finally got the people who Valve modeled the faces for the survivors of both L4D games. This guy is the Coach:

AIDS researches MANN CO’s “Ro-bots”

The CEO of the Anally Inefficient Demoralization of Serenades, Daniel Barthurgten, has went on a research to find out about what MANN CO’s been doing for the past few weeks ever since it was Wednesday, the 13th of August 2009, am I right Strewth? Well.. no response from him. Typical. Anyway, what could possibly bring up such a devastating butt to it’s freezing point by Mann Co? Well, this is a rather huge mystery that the CEO has decided to solve and find out. Danny proclaims to have found and discovered something.

I asked Danny what this is. “Not a single clue on what the heck I’m doing here. BUT AT LEAST I’M DOING SOMETHING!” was the response from him. So I’m gonna go downtown and meet up with Strewth and see what and why the heck he told Danny to put this thing on a shitty piece of paper, and also ask what sick poisonous sandwiches (burgers) has he fed Danny with in order to believe this “discovery” would ever mean anything other than an obvious reference to that girl Robin who seems to be quite famous in Australia for some reason.

Classless Update RELEASED!

Valve has also added a Capture the Intelligence version of Sawmill as well as a new community Control Point map, Yukon.

“This abandoned mountaintop coalmine was repurposed by shadowy operatives into a top secret surveillance outpost—one which also, so nobody gets wise, insidiously continues to mine coal. There is also a log hanging in the center of the map—possibly as an example to other logs. Logs that said too much.”

King of the Hill Gamemode

August 12, 2009 Butthurter Leave a comment

Today is the second day of the Classless Update for Team Fortress 2. The new King of the Hill gamemode is a single control point that’s locked at first, but eventually, it’ll be unlocked for both teams to prowl over. This is pretty much like Arena gamemode, except it doesn’t end when a team captures the point. Both RED and BLU must capture the point in the time given after one of them has taken over it before the game ends in stalemate for the team that didn’t capture the point in time. Viaduct is a new snowfall environment map that’s going to use this gamemode. Along with the Spy vs. Sniper Arena maps, Nucleus and Sawmill.

Stay tuned for more Team Fortress 2 over here.
