This shit’s gettin’ old. New L4D2 campaign; Dark Carnival will be shown at the Penny Arcade Expo next week on the fourth of September..

“After debuting “The Parish” campaign (set in the New Orleans’ French Quarter) at E3, and “Swamp Fever” at Comic Con San Diego, the PAX showing will unveil “Dark Carnival”, the third of the five campaigns shipping with L4D2 this fall. The game will be playable in Microsoft’s Xbox 360 booth as well as in Valve’s L4D2 booth. Different areas of the game will be shown in each location.

In addition to the new campaign, Valve is also planning to unveil a few more of the 20-plus new items coming this November when the title launches worldwide on the Xbox 360 and PC.”

Have some pigs, it’ll last longer to wait for it.

Also, here’s a video of the Serious Sam HD ad/infomercial:

New L4D Campaign: Crash Course

If you thought this wasn’t an official campaign from Valve, well then you thought wrong. Well, you should have known about this news about three days ago. The campaign is going to include versus as well, which would take just about half an hour to finish in versus. Anyways, here’s the campaign poster for it:

You can read more about it here and here.

Also, here’s some more pictures of Serious Sam HD that came along on the same day as well. And so far, it’s pretty much confirmed that the remake of this game will still be split into two encounters like they used to.

Serious Sam

If you’ve missed the news like I did, then you’d be surprised to know that everyone’s favorite shoot ‘em up arcade style FPS will be coming to Steam. Croteam has been working on making both the First and Second encounters for the original Serious Sam to run on the (latest?) Serious Engine. Thanks to CS-Nation, we now know that there will be something serious to look forward to other than HL2: Episode 3, Left 4 Dead 2, or other Valve games for Valve fanboys. The 360 and PS3 versions will be released later this summer, while the PC version will be released on the fall. However, the only bad news is that this will crash and burn the Serious Sam Forever mod out of business. There are also some info gathered from the guys at Seriously! Now, for some orgasmic pictures.

I’m pretty much loving the new HUD. I thought they’d stick with that shitty cartoony HUD they did with the Xbox version of SS1 and SS2. The games still look like they’re going to be sold seperately from the looks of the news mentioning about the first encounter over and over again.

Thanks again, CS-Nation.
