That’s right! Valve has made it so that If you’ve pre-ordered Left 4 Dead 2, or doing it soon, you’ll get the exclusive military beret hat that Bill wears in L4D. So, what are you waiting for if you already have L4D2? Go equip it in your backpack now!

Also, we finally got the people who Valve modeled the faces for the survivors of both L4D games. This guy is the Coach:

Left 4 Zoey

Apparently, I have been playing too much of Left 4 Dead. God, I forgot how addicting this was. Well, apparently, I’ve been enjoying myself in Survival servers lately, and downloading a ton of useless content, hoping for someone to host servers with them. Anyway, I just can’t stop taking.. pictures.. everytime I play. I’ve been doing this since the demo. Anyway, on with the pictures.

I’ve updated the screenshots section with more pics of Left 4 Dead. Check it out: http://mybutthurtsoww.wordpress.com/screenshots/left4dead/

New L4D Campaign: Crash Course

August 8, 2009 Butthurter Leave a comment

If you thought this wasn’t an official campaign from Valve, well then you thought wrong. Well, you should have known about this news about three days ago. The campaign is going to include versus as well, which would take just about half an hour to finish in versus. Anyways, here’s the campaign poster for it:

You can read more about it here and here.

Also, here’s some more pictures of Serious Sam HD that came along on the same day as well. And so far, it’s pretty much confirmed that the remake of this game will still be split into two encounters like they used to.

Meet the Stressed Zoey

I forgot to introduce you all to Zoey. Poor Zoey’s having hormones lately with work and stuff and managing RED’s weaponry, so Scout drops by to cheer her up. Have fun reading through, even though it’s months old.

Left 4 Dead 2

http://pc.ign.com/articles/988/988161p1.html

I was surprised that the mysteriously announced “new characters/new weapons/new campaigns” things weren’t supposed to be an update for Left 4 Dead, but instead, a sequel. And it turns out everything was true, new infected boss, new characters and melee weapons, which were all shown on E3 2009. And since a picture explains a thousand words (not talking about the title pic above), here’s a video to clear out your head and let you pray more than ever. So pray more, because you’ll never know if these features are enough to get some crowd.

As you can see, the big guy with a tiny arm charging down towards people, is the new special infected. There are also some brand new horde types, like hazmat suit zombies and others that didn’t grab my eyes that much because I was too busy imagining myself storing salmon onto their hazmat suits.

To be honest, I hate that big fat black guy whom pretends to be a coach, just because his name is Coach. And Coach (big fat black guy) looks a bit too colorful. When I first saw him, I thought this whole L4D2 thing was a big fanmade mod or something. I do hope they actually change the character designs a bit more through these upcoming months. Because Valve is planning to release this game on November 17th of this year. Only character I seem to like in L4D2 would be Nick, the only white character, who also happens to wear a white suit. Rochelle, the black chick, now this would be an interesting pair for Louis. While Coach would be fitting to be redneck daddy trying to protect her little angel from cityboys like Louis. Ellis (the mechanic) holds an opposite character personality of Francis. So here’s another gameplay video, which at the end, shows a bit of Ellis.

As seen in that video, you may have heard him said “I like horses”. Might be a good comic to imagine him annoying the fuck out of Francis.

Left 4 Dead 2 will be having a new and improved AI Director. It’ll also take place in the southern US with country music remixed into the songs as well. Left 4 Dead 2, in my opinion seems to serve players a different perspective of Left 4 Dead rather than a whole new game. Majority of the L4D gaming community is demanding that L4D should get this new AI Director and every features from L4D2 to the original L4D game, except for the characters and the maps. If this were to happen, then L4D2 would be shit and nothing interesting to it rather than the new maps and characters. Therefore, I think Valve should add new features to the original L4D from time to time, and at the same time, new features to L4D2 as well, except both of these games shouldn’t have the slightest comparable features. This makes the games stand out for itself and have both of it’s cons and pros like any other games would. And if you still think this is all a huge lie and stuff, check out the Left 4 Dead official site and you’ll see L4D2’s teaser trailer there instead. The teaser trailer to L4D2 is also on Steam right here. And now, I leave the first campaign poster here.
