More about Swi-wamp Fever

July 24, 2009 Butthurter 1 comment

Oh, look. I’m three days late. Cry a river. Anyway, Valve has finally revealed another new special infected; the Spitter. Now, that leaves us two more to go along with the other campaign news.

You don’t actually see the Spitter in this video, but we have a concept art of what appears to be a butt-ugly bile-loaded stomach chick with a neck longer than the Scout’s from TF2. Either this is Mrs. Boomer or this could be our new special infected. Well, obviously the latter.

Oh and, if you’ve been living under a concrete cave, shielded by cubicles like me, there is a possible rumor that Valve is planning to replace the healthpacks and pills system with adrenalines. The next picture looks like an intro video for Left 4 Dead 2, judging by the plain matte colors in the map to make us focus on the infected instead. Are they working on making intro videos for all campaigns?

Now, I leave with you a picture of what appears to be an elderly infected drowning in a sea of piss, begging for a punch in the face, or a frying pan for that matter.

The second campaign to Left 4 Dead 2 has been announced.

Valve is also going to bring L4D2 to a Comic Con.

Oh and Imageshack decided to be the best image hosting site ever, and remove most of my pictures to teach the importance of money to a man that handles stock marketing.

Oh and Valve has just announced the feature to press “use” on any living thing (including survivors, or “zombies” if you think they’re dead) and turn it into a human shield.

Valve are Good at Keeping Secrets

According to the recent announcement of Left 4 Dead 2, it seems that Valve has been very good at keeping secrets lately. Not to mention, they’ve hidden the two new special infected that have yet to be seen/announced. That or they just haven’t finished modelling/scripting those two. But there’s some new gameplay footage for Left 4 Dead 2 and an interview with Doug Lombardi, which was all recorded from London. And no, ignore the “Freeman isn’t finished” thing at the end. We all obviously know that. But you gotta hand it to Valve, Sniper vs. Spy update and L4D2 were a really big surprise.
